Detention of Crown employees in China

The Australian Government has been notified today of the detention of three Australian citizens in Shanghai.

The three Australians were among a number of Crown Resorts Limited (Crown) employees detained across China on 13 and 14 October.

Consular officials in Shanghai are making arrangements to visit the Australians to offer appropriate assistance, all of whom have legal representation provided by their employer.

The Australian Government is also providing consular support and information to the families in Australia, in consultation with Crown.
